The Scotty Gas Lift Bed pairs a softly upholstered frame with storage beneath the mattress platform. Its channelled headboard creates a calm bedroom look, while the lift-up base makes use of space that would otherwise be difficult to reach.
The headboard has rounded upper corners and evenly spaced channels, with plain upholstered side rails and foot-end below. The under-bed area is accessed from the foot of the frame and forms one open storage cavity without pull-out drawers, so side clearance is not needed for storage access.

How the Gas-Lift Storage Works
The platform raises from the foot end with assistance from gas-lift hardware. Because the fitted mattress contributes to the balance of the mechanism, confirm the recommended mattress size and weight before use. Always lift with the intended handle and keep the movement controlled until the platform is properly supported.
Use the storage area for items that fit below the closing line. Keep bedding, bags and loose fabric away from hinges, support arms and other moving parts. Although the design does not need drawer clearance, allow enough room at the foot of the bed to stand securely while opening and closing it.

Bed width is measured across the headboard, which is the widest point. Bed-frame height and headboard height are the same in both sizes. Mattress dimensions are the Australian standard sizes; individual mattresses vary by around a centimetre between manufacturers.
